About Channel Marine
Known to locals as "The Big Red Marina"

Channel Marine has beeen dedicated to providing services and products for the greater Lakes Region boating community since 1946. This tradition is continued presently with the Award Winning Sales Department and Outstanding customer service provided. Channel Marine started with selling Garwood boats, which has now become a wooden classic. The second generation at Channel Mairne was the Century boat line.

During many of those years Channel Marine had the distinction of being the #1 selling Century dealer in the United States, which sparked Channel Marine's recognition as one of the top boating facilities on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Channel Marine currently has 4 boat lines to support our "From Family Fun to the Need for Speed". Crownline boats has topped the JD Powers list the last ocuple of years. For the performance boater, we have the Baja speed boats. It is the most popular speed boat in New England.

New Store in Tilton

Last year Channel Marine added a new store at the Route 3 location. With the addition, we added the Bennington Pontoon boat line. Bennington boats are a JD Power top pick.

Channel Mairne is currently owned by Doug Hammond and Vin Mullarkey. Vin & Doug purchased the marina in February 2000, and are dedicated to taking Channel Marine to the next level of growth - they have added four new winter storage buildings, creating a total storage capacity in excess of 450 units.
